This performance focuses on visualizing the causal relationship of time passing in contemporary and internet societies. It took place at the Freitag Store Hamburg (a bag brand) in Germany, where I drew continuous lines on a window for six hours, matching the working hours of the store’s employees.I conceptualized the window frame as a video streaming site's playback screen, drawing lines very slowly, akin to a progress bar. Windows serve as a bridge between the inside and outside worlds. While we can see the outside scenery through the window, the window itself becomes a part of our view. Thus, the window is not merely a transparent boundary but an integral part of our perception of reality. The perspective from which we view the world is crucial, as different perspectives shape different realities. The window symbolizes this viewpoint, illustrating how our angle and interpretation shape our understanding.

The colorful paints were not chosen by me but by visitors who happened to stop by the store. They applied the paint directly to the window, and I used a brush to stretch and blend the colors, creating a single continuous line. This process represented the rapid shifts in modern trends, with the ever-changing blend of colors reflecting the fluid nature of contemporary life. How we use the time given to us is up to us. Even if I were to draw the same line for six hours again, it would never be identical. This illustrates the unique and unrepeatable nature of each moment.

By intertwining the individual choices of the visitors with my continuous drawing, this performance captured the dynamic interplay between personal actions and the relentless flow of time. It underscores the evolving nature of modern society and highlights the importance of perspective in shaping our reality.
